Senior Relationship Managers engage with and provide coverage for the firm's largest Institutional clients across Banking, Insurance, IBD/RIA, generating min ARR of $500K and those with strategic importance, potential for significant ARR expansion and/or complex M&A. They partner closely with their clients and cross-functional stakeholders to drive platform adoption, account retention, revenue preservation and to create a pathway for new revenue growth.
Senior Relationship Managers engage with clients to develop and apply a strategic understanding of their clients (industry segment, business lines, strategy, growth goals, operating models, platform adoption objectives, success measures etc). They maintain and analyze business intelligence metrics to actively monitor, document, flag and remediate issues that could impact platform adoption, client sentiment, account retention and revenue growth. Additionally, they work with cross-functional teams to: socialize business intelligence, define and advance wholistic account strategies, align resources and provide centralized oversight for cross-functional milestones, deliverables and status reporting. Senior Relationship Managers actively partner with Sales, Finance & Legal to inform Revenue Preservation activities (contract renewals) and Revenue Growth opportunities (contract rebids, expansion to new business units, client M&A, statements of work, demand-gen campaigns, events strategy etc). They collaborate with Training and Practice Management to define, plan, and execute campaigns to improve platform adoption and assess outcomes. Senior Relationship Managers will coordinate with our Product and Client Implementation teams to support our roadmap and custom development efforts and also coordinate and lead business reviews with their client's c-suite . Many of their clients are highly visible due to scale and/or industry prominence and many are also undergoing complex growth through robust advisor recruitment, RIA onboarding and M&A. As a result, Senior Relationship Managers must develop and possess a well-informed understanding of industry sectoral trends, drivers and client strategy and executive ability to effectively coordinate complex cross-functional deliverables with our Sales, Finance, Legal, Client Implementation, Practice Management, Training and Client Service teams.
They are expected to develop and maintain robust knowledge of the wealth management industry, FINTECH, our full product suite and fluency with practice management concepts and strategies for platform adoption. Senior Relationship Managers are a trusted and valued Subject Matter Expert (SME), and as such will liaise directly with leaders across the firm. They are expected to contribute to and adopt efforts to optimize Departmental policies, processes and workflows and may serve as a resource and mentor to more junior colleagues.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain and harness a meaningful understanding of your client's 1.) strategy, 2.) business model, 3.) growth goals, 4.) success measurements for using the platform; Keep your finger on the pulse and know your client as it pertains to their 5.) satisfaction, 6.) adoption patterns, 7.) retention risk and 8.) growth footprint
  • Define and advance the wholistic account strategy for each account in your portfolio, in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM & business intelligence across your portfolio of Enterprise clients; Generate and analyze our BI dashboards across full client book on a monthly basis; Leverage this data to identify and present monthly insights pertaining adoption, retention and growth. Socialize and escalate findings accordingly
  • Anticipate and identify any significant impediments to adoption, client sentiment, account retention and revenue growth and work with cross-functional teams to remediate and resolve
  • Provide account oversight and cross-functional governance; Partner and collaborate cross-functionally to align and deploy eMoney resources; Track and monitor cross-functional milestones and deliverables and publish status reporting;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and client advocate; Lead ongoing cadence calls with clients; Coordinate and lead Business Reviews in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support contract renewal process with eMoney Sales, Finance and Legal by contributing insights specific to adoption and usage that could influence contractual terms and proposals
  • Apply nuanced understanding of your clients to identify relevant and meaningful opportunities for ARR Growth, both in the form of new product packages, new products, and Sales Expansion; Provide meaningful insights to inform economic proposals; Support expansion campaigns, track ARR Growth outcomes and provide relevant updates
  • Oversee E2E platform adoption across your portfolio of Enterprise Clients. Manage the E2E execution of "Adoption Campaigns": document discovery / needs assessment; identify and propose relevant adoption strategies to be implemented based on client need; Develop timeline for adoption campaigns; coordinate delivery of campaign milestones, escalate issues and risks as relevant and provide status reporting; Measure effectiveness of adoption campaigns
  • Develop and cultivate knowledge of eMoney's Technology suite and roadmap; Demonstrate the ability to autonomously and effectively manage expectations pertaining to client requests and product inquiries; Demonstrate ability to meaningfully discern and articulate client requests / product suggestions for future consideration on eMoney's roadmap
  • Lead implementation of special initiatives and firmwide directives through prompt and effective engagement - anticipate, escalate and remediate issues that could impact your clients
  • Provide subject matter expertise and liaise directly with leaders across the firm
  • Demonstrate leadership and provide expertise and mentorship to more junior colleagues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university required
  • 6+ years of experience in financial services, inclusive of breadth and successive seniority
  • MA, MSc, MBA, CFP and/or other advanced degree or certification preferred
Skills:
  • Direct experience in Wealth Management, Banking, TAMP, RIA, Brokerage and B2B markets; savvy understanding of industry drivers and competitive landscape
  • Knowledge of Wealth Management and Fintech platforms required
  • Strong track record successfully building and managing relationships with demanding and complex Advisors and Home Offices
  • Well-informed understanding of industry sectoral trends and ability to discern client specific business models and strategic drivers
  • Fluency with practice management concepts and strategies for platform adoption and advisor growth and the ability to discern those that are suitable, based on client need
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to also execute tactical deliverables
  • Strong proficiency working with business intelligence frameworks, data and data analysis
  • Execution oriented with the ability to solution and drive swift remediation
  • Highly capable in managing complex deliverables across multiple clients and workstreams, simultaneously
  • Excellent judgement with the ability to recognize risks and opportunities and strong commitment to providing the appropriate visibility to all key stakeholders
  • Ability to develop and manage constructive relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to autonomously own content knowledge and convey recommendations with confidence and authority
  • Strong team player who actively supports colleagues and works to champion our departmental mandate
The salary range for this position is $87,000 - $127,000; commensurate salary to be determined based on skills, professional background and expertise. This position is also eligible, pursuant to applicable eMoney policies, for the annual bonus program, retirement contributions, health insurance, sick leave, parental leave and paid time off.
