STS Technical Services is hiring Test Techniciansin Danbury, Connecticut.

As a Test Technician on our 2nd shift, you will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting electromechanical assemblies and various products.

• Our 2nd shift operates Monday to Thursday from 3:00pm to 12:30am, with every other Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm.

• Provide technical support to engineers on moderately complex components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment.
• Test, modify, rework, and repair electronic, optical, and mechanical assemblies.
• Interpret wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches.
• Coordinate multiple activities simultaneously and adjust priorities according to operational changes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators such as production deadlines, product quality, raw material stock levels, and compliance outcomes.
• Support and uphold the mission, values, and culture of the organization.

• Associate's degree and 2+ years of experience in a technical discipline or equivalent field experience.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and wire lists.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Preferred experience in soldering and wire bonding.
• Knowledge of various test equipment.
• Attention to detail.
• Compliance with safety and procedural rules.
• Basic computer literacy, including the use of programs such as Access, Excel, and Labview.
• Preferred experience with MRP systems.
