Introduction to the job

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

Planning: Set up a detailed production schedule on the availability of Sequence Engineering resources, within the constraints of the Change Control Board planning, manufacturing for Bill of Materials (BOM)/Bill of Process (BOP)/BOP Only/Operation Change Notice (OCN), Maintain Labor Hour and Cycle Time Targets in SAP, Weekly stand up meetings are required to ensure progress and output to plan. Solve problems, Follow escalation protocol, provide recovery plans, and inform relevant parties on deviations from plan.

Output: Realize the planned output of all deliverables. Ensure that the level of know-how and the training of the team members is sufficient to be able to realize all plans. Ensure all barriers to the daily plan, quality, BOM/BOP, SAP routing, analyze/lead the SAP alignments with Teamcenter, and troubleshooting issues are recorded and reported. Capability to interface with multidisciplinary groups (including senior leadership), and be willing to take on responsibility and follow through.

Quality: Ensure the quality of the BOM/BOP/Routing/SAP Labor/cycle output: through effective established processes (including Configuration Management) and sufficient know-how/training. Update/create work centers/work areas/resources for cost, material scheduling and DN time analysis.


Infrastructure: Ensure infrastructure to assure effective and efficient tasks. Ensure the availability and proper use of effective qualified, CBT, L5 procedures, recordings and systems.

Cooperation: Support cooperation throughout DE, Planning, Safety and Production Engineering by: finding solutions and improving working concepts, giving input and feedback, and supporting the execution of all tasks and a good working environment.

Management: Ensure adequate staffing of the team to support a productive working atmosphere in order to assure flexibility. Execute performance appraisals in concert with the Manager. Instruct team members, plan tasks, and set priorities. Ensure proper and timely execution of all tasks. Ensure proper execution of HRM, Safety, Quality, and ISO 9000/14000 policies and procedures.

Lean Manufacturing:Ensure incorporation of Lean Manufacturing concepts in the day to day operations. Support and promote an environment that improves efficiency by using 5S techniques, Kaizen events, andSix Sigma concepts. Facilitate continuous improvement and waste reduction efforts.

Communication: Good writing and verbal skills. Able to express complex issues in simple terms. Communicate daily with GLs / Managers on the plan and the status at the start and end of the shift.

Configuration Management: Understand the principles of configuration management. Coordinating cross functional teams in change control boards (CCBs) by reviewing document impact analysis (DIAs) and managing bill of materials & bill of process (BOM/BOP) for engineering change notices. Support and advise engineers in setting up and maintenance of high level Bill of Material (BOM) and manufacturing sequence of functional modules.

Testing: Participate in User Acceptance Test (UAT) and System Integrations Test (SIT) for future software functionality improvements. Write feedback on the results.

Education and experience

Bachelors degree in a technical field. Masters degree is a plus.

Minimum of 2 - 5 years of management experience
Know How of configuration Management, Engineering Change Process, Quality Assurance and Improvement Techniques
Purposive, analytical, enterprising, flexible
Social skills to communicate at several levels, team builder, customer oriented

Skills

A fast paced manufacturing environment that requires leaders willing to embrace new concepts. He/She/They must work comfortably in a manufacturing environment that utilizes Lean Manufacturing concepts and be able to coordinate with others for job accomplishment. Must provide an accurate shift status in writing daily. Must have a working knowledge of the MS Office Suite.

Previous work within SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and Teamcenter, is a plus.

Must be capable of working in a clean room environment.
